Rotherham Minster in All Saints Square dates back to the 15th century and includes parts of even older Norman and Saxon buildings. On the outskirts of the City, a brick glass-making furnace is the oldest surviving structure of its type in Europe. The remains of the 16th century College of Jesus building survive in the town centre, a Grade II listed building, the oldest surviving brick structure in North Yorkshire.

A little background on Richmond:

Richmond lies on the River Swale, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. A major tourist attraction is Richmond Castle in the centre of the town, built as part of the Norman Conquest. Richmond's cobbled market place is said to be the largest in England. The UK's most complete 18th century theatre is Richmond's Georgian Theatre Royal which was built in 1788.hj
